Pink Experiences — fixing hearts they never broke.

I have followed Vanika for a while now, I have been to her shows twice in Bengaluru. Really loved her work, I relate to her so much that it is insane. I knew about pink experiences as well, I really wanted to go on their trips but usually, they used to host in the north which wasn’t so convenient for me at that moment.

When did I book the Goa trip?

Was totally lost to what the fuck is going on in life and in general.

Didn’t have a place to live, was living with my brother. I had got a new job, which I was adjusting to, and many other things, learning and unlearning stuff.

The reel popped up and I was like I so wanna go. I asked for the details, they sent me the same, I was like “Vanika will be there?”, she herself sent a voice message, saying she would.

Still didn’t confirm.

I was yet to shift to a new place nearer to the office, which was going to cost me a ton considering Bangalore rental rates.

I don’t know what happened.

I was like fuck it.

Let’s go!!! Confirmed my spot. ✅

Till I wasn’t on the bus to Goa, I didn’t believe it was happening.

I was going to GOA with 30+ strangers!!!!!!🚀

So I have mostly covered the whole south, but Goa was left. It was always like we should go to Goa in a group. Then only it is fun, or else you won’t have so much fun and shit like that. 😵‍💫

But I am so happy that I did this trip.

Sometimes it is so important to come out of your comfort zone and take a step for yourself. So I used to be an extrovert which in the past few years I saw fading away. Irony was when people asked what makes you happy, I was like meeting new people. 🙂

I had deprioritized myself so much that I wasn’t even realizing that I was doing nothing for myself.

This was a gift to myself and I hope I keep gifting myself things like these always.

Keeping yourself happy is the key to a healthy life and a true life for yourself.

So trips with Pink Experiences are not just trips, they are much more, self-reflection, understanding yourself, making yourself better and so much more, that I can’t even make you understand it, you have to experience it yourself.

Obviously, we saw south Goa, a way I don’t think so I would ever be able to see and enjoy.

What stood out to me:

The little activities we did which usually you will never want to do on a trip especially, because you don’t want to go through that lane, that too on a trip, that too when you are in Goa. But which is so important, for you. I feel trips should make you bring closer to you, which this trip did.

Vanika took so much effort to make people to get to know each other and be comfortable with each other, make other people speak up, and make people more involved in things. Which I don’t think any travel company will do. She wanted everyone to experience things and have a good time.

The connections I made are irreplaceable. Talked about things with folks which I didn’t think of speaking with anyone.

Had so many amazing conversations with people. Knowing so many stories. It was so amazing getting to know so many people and their journey.

Danced my heart out. Realized that I wasn’t dancing enough. It makes me so happy.

Wished for something, spelled it on a paper boat, and saw it flow.

Sang songs we could remember because we didn’t have our phone, and even vibed on it, on a scooter ride while it was raining.

Let the water flow us a zillion times with such a beautiful view and such amazing company.

Learned to float, thanks to Vanika! Such a surreal experience. It seems you are in all together a different world. Even if you are surrounded by people, you can just make a connection with yourself and nature. You won’t hear anything but your breath, making you so aware of yourself.

Saw the sun rising on the beach.

I said goodbye to people.

And I found a part of myself that I thought I had lost forever.
