Getting to Know Me

Let’s dive deeper into who I am!🙈

I won’t claim that designing is my life, but I can pull off a 10-hour design marathon without being too grumpy.😌 It’s not just a job; it’s my pro-choice because, hey, why not? I love chatting with folks and digging into why they make the choices they do — great for me as a Product Designer.

But wait, there’s more! Even though I’m deep into the product design game, I throw in some graphic work just to keep things spicy. Priyanshu needs her creative kicks, you know?🙊

At work, I’m the fun factor, the gal who adds that extra flair. Open to experiments, I’ll be the first to speak up and drop a disagreement if the idea doesn’t vibe.

Enough shop talk, let’s shift gears to life, equally important. Currently, I’m picking up photography ’cause capturing moments 📸 is truly captivating. I love exploring cities and places (no world tour yet), and you bet food😋, both munching, and cooking, is my zen place. Volunteering in schools is my hidden joy — the sheer magic of being around kids is simply incredible.

And oh, writing! As you can see, it’s a thing. So, if you wanna add to this rollercoaster of a life I’m living, hit me up! Questions? Fire away!

Alright, buckle up for a quick sneak peek into my world! Now, let the adventure of my journey unfold!😆

How It All Began

As a child, my interest in design blossomed without me even realizing it. It wasn’t until my second year of engineering that I considered turning this passion into a career. My grandpa, a sweetheart, couldn’t understand why I always wanted paint for my birthdays. The truth? I just love cool stationery — pens and paper are my favorites.

The school was where I had the most fun being creative. I was the go-to person for making project covers, avoiding the boring writing part inside. I studied at LFS in Jamshedpur, where they hosted an annual event called Odyssey, our big yearly event featuring a PowerPoint presentation competition. Actively engaging in it, I cherished the process of crafting presentations on assigned topics on Microsoft PowerPoint. I especially loved adding animations and other elements to enhance the appeal of my slides.

When I was a kid, I loved messing around with pictures and trying to make collages. My mom would get mad and say I was ruining them. One time, I took all the old pictures of my father and created a wall-hanging kind of thing for him. And yes, I used to use paint a lot, both on paper and on the computer.

In college, around my second year, a senior introduced me to Adobe Photoshop. I got a free version and started playing around with it, making posters. I joined a group called iCare, where I designed posters for events.
Our department events were my canvas — clicking pics, adding magic, and creating winners’ posters that became the bulletin board celebs! Then came the department magazine gig — picture me as the unsung hero behind those glossy pages. But cue the plot twist: COVID crashed the party.

Wanting to explore beyond being a developer, I tried internships — started with digital marketing, then did graphic design and visual design internships until my fourth year. During those internships, I discovered my interest in product design. So, I took the plunge, and voila — my first full-time in product design happened. Three years on, I’m still riding the design wave. And that sums up the rollercoaster journey from day one. 🚀
