The beautiful from the Rock beach

Places to visit

Rock Beach
This is the most famous spot in Puducherry. The best time to go here is during the evening when the sun is down. Maybe catch the sunset, you guys talk and eat cotton candy, raw mango, and other stuff which locals sell on the beach. The other super fun thing about this place is that you can stay here till late at night. There are always folks there till 1–2 am, so it’s super chill. You can watch the stars and the moon in peace. During the evening there is a crowd that lessens as the night begins.

Auroville
So this is like the second most famous place in Puducherry, everyone visits here. The thing about this place is that of course it has a unique concept and if you guys are interested, you should go but you can just see Matrimandir from a distance and you have to like walk for 1–2km, I guess.
So it’s purely upon the choice. You are fascinated by the concept and you want to see it once. Go. About entering the Mantrimandir, I really don’t have any idea, how that can be done. More about Auroville. It doesn’t have any ticket as such, as I remember.

Lighthouse (the new one)
This place bro, it’s magical. We reached there in the evening, as the sun was setting. And I am a person who doesn’t go awww seeing a view, but this place was super great. The view is breathtaking, you see the whole of Pondicherry with the sea, it’s amazing. Don’t miss this ever.

Eden Beach
This is such an underrated beach. We didn’t know about it, I don’t remember exactly how did we find this, I am glad we did though. Such a beauty, the entry has a lake passing through, with coconut trees, and then there is a beach. You can consider this if you wanna take a bath.

Apart from this, there is this harbour point too if you wanna take pictures, new to the lighthouse, a good view, less crowd. Pondicherry Marina Beach is close to this if you wanna grab a bite. There are museums too, and a lot more places you can visit, these were my favourites.

Places to EAT

There are a lot of cafes, that are instagrammable with great food. They are located in a white town, which you can visit to take a lot of pictures.

My favourites :
Hope Cafe Pondicherry (the cheesecake)
Zuka (the cupcakes)
The Pasta Bar Veneto (the pasta, tasty as hell)
The Thick Shake Factory (the shakes, ofcourse)

Hope Cafe, Random photos, The Pasta Bar Veneto

Thank you for reading!!

My first blog on travelling, many more to go!! Cheers!
